High Quality Plastic Parts at Competitive Rate
Stereo Lithography is a process that automates a laser beam to
precisely draw or print very thin cross sections of a model onto
the surface of a photo-curable liquid plastic. Successive cross
sections are built one layer on top of another to form the finished
part from the bottom up. Morris Technologies employs multiple SLA
machines using the latest technology to provide you with the highest
quality parts at extremely competitive rates. Once finished in
our machines, each SLA part is meticulously inspected and finished
to your exact specifications. Morris Technologies' SLA models offer
you: |
- Visualization - 3D
models facilitate clear, rapid communication. Errors that are
elusive in drawings stand out in real parts.
- Marketing - SLA models make extremely powerful sales tools,
allowing clients to physically hold and examine your proposed
product.
- Part Testing - Functional, flow, wind tunnel and stress tests
(photoelastic) may be performed prior to expensive capital outlays.
- Bid Requests - Suppliers can price quotation packages faster
and more competitively with 3D models. Actual cases have documented
savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
|
- Patterns - SLA parts
can be used to make patterns for investment castings or used
as tooling for sand or plaster castings...in a fraction of the
time hard tooling would be required.
- Master for Urethanes - SLA models are ideal for masters to
make urethane reproductions. SLA parts can be finished to a high
degree, enabling the RTV tooling to pick up all of the detail
desired. Multiple urethane reproductions can then be made in
your choice of color and durameter.
Morris Technologies' SLA equipment includes nine (9) machines,
including three (3) SLA-500s, one (1) SLA-7000, two (2) Vipers
and three (3) SLA-250s. We run a variety of resins in different
colors and durometers (see resin.pdf files below) that can accommodate
almost any application. |
